This holiday season Shaping Foundations partnered with Books for the Better in order to host a book drive for children (ages 4-13) with rare diseases!
All proceeds were donated to the DISCOVER Program for undiagnosed disorders at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP).
In total, we collected & donated:
250+ books
$50 in monetary donations (donated as a check)
We collected donations from November 23 to December 18, 2020, through book drop offs and monetary donations to our PayPal, as well as through the non-profit Books for the Better!
Books for the Better is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on collecting and donating books to kids in need. We would like to thank them for partnering with us and helping donate books!
