RARE DISEASE WARRIORS

RARE DISEASE WARRIORS is an organization and Facebook Group for the rare disease community. They work to inform the public of the importance of donations and provide a community for those with rare diseases. With more than 2000 members, the Facebook group is a wonderful and inclusive community for rare disease patients and advocates. This organization is led by Christopher DeHaven.

DR SHYAMALA PEESAPATI

Dr Shyamala Peesapati is a rare disease advocate from India and is one of our very own Rare Ambassadors. She is also the author of the book "WORLD WILL REMEMBER YOU DAD: Raise The Rare And Rise". Her story is truly inspirational as she advocates for rare diseases through interviews, writing, and collaborations with other advocates & organizations. RARE YOUTH REVOLUTION

The RARE Youth Revolution is a news platform for young people to access relevant content centered around rare diseases. This youth magazine aims to provide a platform for young RARE voices to be heard and empowering a future generation of rare disease advocates. We have partnered with them through their blog, rare disease day content, and our podcast.
